Mana Ohana for Kupuna Care was developed in 2021 to adjust to the ever-changing care for the kupuna.
Connie Kaufusi is an experienced Program Manager and certified APC course instructor at the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. Connie received her Bachelors of Business degree with American Military University in 2021, and as a Marine Corps Veteran, she has extensive background knowledge in aircraft maintenance logs, records, and quality assurance, specialties that have helped her to provide comprehensive and meticulous instructional services.
She has now been working with NCCAP as a Director of Operations for almost 5 years, and as a mom to 2 young children, she brings compassion, experience, and a fresh perspective to her work as a certified instructor. Through hands-on experiential learning during her time with the NCCAP, Connie has been able to grasp the beneficial impact that Activity Professionals have on the lives of the aging population, and she is committed to advancing the person-centered movement toward devoted care for the aging population.
Activity Professionals are specially trained and certified to provide for people on the continuum of care, and Connie strives to be part of this changing force by providing quality competencies to the future Activity Professionals that will work with the kupuna now and into the future.
